Disguises is involved in the Lakewood and Denver communities.  Disguises proudly takes part in many charitable activities such as visiting patients at Lutheran Hospital at Christmas, giving talks to senior citizens at Total Long Term Care in Lakewood and more.

Annual Summer Kids' Festival - Every summer Disguises sponsors a children's festival where all employees prepare games, activities and entertainment for chilren - free of charge.   This is our thank-you for the continual support we receive year-round from our community.

2005 - Fairy Festival - Children of all ages dressed like fairies and wizards and enjoyed a bazaar of fairy items, danced the maypole dance, made fairy wings and  enjoyed getting their faces painted.

2006 - Fairytale Festival again, children enjoyed costumed characters, fairytale skits, arts and crafts, archery and many medieval-themed activities.

Furry Scurry - Every year we sponsor a booth at the annual Furry Scurry, which earns money to benefit all the animals from the Denver Dumb Friends League.

Total Longterm Care - Owner Cindy Catanese has been asked twice to visit the senior citizens at Total Longterm Care in Lakewood to give a presentation about hats.  Seniors reminisce about hats they used to wear, play guessing games about the many hats Cindy brings and has a great time trying on various styles.

Arvada Harvest Festival Parade - This year Disguises is participating in Arvada's end-of-summer parade where Disguises' employees are entertaining huge crowds with their interpretation of the Monster Mash.

Lakewood High School's Tiger Prowl - We participate in the summer 5K run to benefit Lakewood High School's extra-curricular activities where we face paint and provide costumed mascots.

Limb Preservation Society - We are one of the proud sponsors of the Limb Preservation Society's annual fund-raiser, donating 10% of all costume rentals to the Limb Preservation Society.

Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival Parade - We love to greet the folks of Wheat Ridge every summer in their annual Carnation Festival Parade.

Golden's Christmas Parades - Every December you will find us marching in the weekly Christmas parades on the streets of Golden where children love seeing our costumed characters every week.

Lakewood on Parade -  Disguises can be seen marching in the Lakewood on Parade every summer to greet the folks of Lakewood.

Phamaly Theatre Productions - This year Disguises donated a few of the costumes used in their acclaimed production of Urinetown.  Physically Handicapped Amateur Musical Actors League.

Colfax Marathon - Every spring we get up at the crack of dawn to cheer on the runners in the Colfax Marathon.  Some of Disguises' employees even gladly don a hot mascot costume to lead the cheers.
